Our comprehensive curriculum covers the many diverse topics that you’ll be required to study to work under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist, including basic pharmacology,  drug and medical terminology and best practices. The Pharmacy Assistant program prepares you for a busy but rewarding career assisting licensed pharmacists in the operation of a pharmacy. You’ll acquire the necessary skills in filling orders, entering client information, preparing and processing paperwork, identifying the breakdowns for prescriptions as well as train on pharmacy computer systems. You’ll also learn to manage inventory and handle many of the other administrative duties that will be required in your new career.
