The Skills and Confidence You’ll Acquire
During the course of our program, we’ll prepare for a rewarding career as a Personal Support Worker (PSW), providing care, support and assistance to clients who are aging, chronically ill and/or have physical disabilities. As a PSW, you’ll assist clients and their families with the many tasks for which they require assistance, including meal preparation, hygiene, bathing, dressing and attending to household tasks that clients can no longer manage on their own. Successful graduates of our program will receive their First Aid & CPR certifications, Public Health Food Handler Certificate and Alzheimer’s Society Training certificate.
