Step 1: Introduction:
An interview will be conducted by telephone, email or by an Education/Admissions Counsellor. The first meeting and interview is extremely important, as it outlines the most effective strategy for integration and action. Career goals, aspirations and timelines are discussed, followed by a tour of the campus, where you can meet the Evergreen College staff members and our current students.
Step 2: Assessment Test (if needed)
The grade 12 equivalency English test is designed to assess some of the essential skills and abilities that are required to successfully complete our diploma programs. This is not required if the applicant has a Canadian secondary school education diploma.
Step 3: Finalize Financing and Registration
This is an exploration of the most feasible and suitable financing options, making sure that all registration information is current and complete to ensure a smooth entry into the program.
Step 4: Program Start – Career Planning and Placement
That first day at school will be met with a welcoming smile here at Evergreen College. Students adapt quickly and learn to focus on activities that will ensure a solid Field Placement / Co-op, and eventually full-time employment, in just a few short months.
